For a couple of years I have been running into this alternate source control system called Subversion (SVN). After reading a couple of more glowing testimonials today, I decided to find out what the buzz was about. And now I know. SVN handles deletes, renames, and moves better than VSS -- and better than CVS (which is easy since CVS cannot handle such things). I am going to migrate to SVN as my personal sccs. Migrating SSI might be more difficult, but not impossible.

This "blog" is really just a scratchpad of mine. There is not much of general interest here. Most of the content is scribbled down "live" as I discover things I want to remember. I rarely go back to correct mistakes in older entries. You have been warned :)
